The practice has a very structured day for all colleagues - we can't plan for every emergency but we can make sure under normal circumstances the day runs smoothly. There is always a member of the leadership team present at the start of the day to set you up for success, and the leadership team meet weekly and look ahead at the diary to anticipate problems and come up with solutions before you even know there is an issue!
Breaks
We pay all colleagues while receiving their breaks! And you aren't expected to squeeze in admin time between consults or other responsibilities - everyone has dedicated time blocked off for admin so that you aren't staying late or rushing between other tasks.
Compensated overtime
All colleagues clock in and out to their shifts and any overtime is compensated with time off in lieu! If we request colleagues work overtime for shift cover, we provide either TOIL or overtime pay.
