Our aim is to constantly be getting better and have a Leadership Team that enables all colleagues to provide feedback and receive support.
Psychological safety
All our colleagues sign up to our Just Culture pledge and our Social Contract when they join. This makes the practice expectations on team communication clear and how we deal with things when they don't go as planned.
The team has all received an Insights profile and received training from Insights to better understand how different people work and like to be communicated with.
The whole team has received training from VetLed on compassionate communication. Where people find it difficult to discuss communication concerns directly with someone, we have two trained Second Messengers to support delivering feedback on communication in a compassionate way.

Team engagement
All colleagues receive a monthly 1-2-1 with their Team Leader so there is dedicated time for the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions. We also send an annual anonymous engagement survey so you can provide feedback.
Team building
We have two Away Days every year - we shut the practice, have some team training and end it with a social event together.
Obviously the highlight of the year is always the Christmas Party!
