Wellbeing
Everyone is an individual with different health and wellbeing needs, and we respect that. Prefer to work less days but longer shifts? Have childcare needs to meet? Want to finish before closing so you can attend a class or hobby? We take all needs into account so you get the balance you need. We also provide external support via an Employee Assistance Programme, private medical insurance, cycle to work schemes, annual eye test contributions and flu vaccine vouchers.
Wellbeing champions
We have two Mental Health First Aiders in the practice to ensure someone is available if you need support, and redirect you to further support where required. Our Employee Assistance Programme includes a minimum of six counselling sessions where needed, and we can provide support for more if required.
Wellbeing initiatives
Day-to-day, we provide a large indoor break area and have an outside break area too. This means whether you want to have a chat or find a quiet space to unwind, there is somewhere available for you.
We offer funding for private medical insurance so you can get quick access to GPs, referral services and physiotherapy so you can stay in the best physical health. There are also discounts on gym memberships and a cycle to work scheme via our Reward Hub.
