Culture

Leaders have an enormous impact on company culture. At Argyll we give our team purpose and mentorship whilst trying to keep everyone engaged and unified.
Our Purpose
Our team is committed to promoting animal welfare though excellence in veterinary medicine, education and service to our clients and local community whilst keeping our patient needs at the forefront of our minds.
We have achieves this by providing high quality medical, surgical and nursing care to our patients and a safe and enjoyable environment for our team. We find this motivates team development by learning, sharing and growing both as individuals and a team.

Psychological safety
We have a management team who listens and communicates. We never make promises but we do try to involve the team as much as possible.
We have regular monthly check ins to discuss wellbeing, concerns, personal development and any conflicts so that we can better support our teams. We find regular chats help iron out any issues early.

Team engagement
We have recently had a management restructure. This was designed to ensure we had the correct people in the correct roles. In doing so there has been less confusion as to who to approach in regards to individual concerns. Our monthly check ins and team meetings give everyone equal opportunities to identify problem area and discuss ways to solve these. We like to involve our team as they're pretty savvy.

Team building
We tend to find like any good relationship its the little things that make a difference and not the grand gestures. Saying thank you, genuine resect for a job well done, appreciation for those who stay back to help to name but a few.
We're are glass 'half full' team' and that spreads the positivity. It infectious.
