Wellbeing
We are conscious of the mental health aspects of working in end of life care.
Every working from home employee gets a budget to order good furniture like a standing table to prevent back and posture issues.
We allow open communication during work hours about health issues for the whole team. A close example is the Peri and Menopause group all female team members are a part of. Amongst partners work life balance is constantly being discussed and tips are exchanged. Although we are all very different people knowing that others have had similar experiences can create great support. we also create one on one spaces for members of the team that prefer sharing and offloading in a non communal way.

Wellbeing champions
As Dignipets provides end of life care we are very conscious of compassion fatigue and have a lot of resources for self care for pet carers, joint venture partners and staff.
Wellbeing initiatives
We make sure we organise regular meet ups as we are all working from home. Also, we have a peri and menopause chat group at work. Next to someone always being available for emotional support.
Personal development
Our receptionists are all part of BVRA and given time to follow their course material and attend conference every year. They also have membership of IAAHPC where they have free choice of courses.
Our veterinary nurses immediately receive online consulting training and IAAHPC courses they are actively involved in every part of the joint venture business giving them great insight into what possibilities there are out there in the world of animal hospice and end of life care.
