Community

We have a vocation to create awareness for pet bereavement by organising pet memorial walks, having an online platform where pet carers support each other and much more.
Next to that we create buddy support groups as not everyone is online or able to walk. Making pet carers aware that you do not have to the final part of your pet's journey alone is our mission. There is so much more to offer between diagnosis and a pet's passing and we love the fact that support our colleagues in general practice by taking away the moral injury of not potentially having enough time or resources to help clients with this journey. As it is all we do day in day out we also pride ourselves in doing it very well and having the time to study all the resources available in the world of pet hospice and end of life care.

We only work with recycled plastic and are constantly keeping an eye on greener vehicles for our mobile services. But we hope with us all working from home we already make a good impact there.

Every Dignipets area vet organises a Pet Bereavement Memorial Walk for free every year. So pet carers can walk in memory of a lost pet. This creates a wonderful moment between the vet and the carer and at the same time recognises pet bereavement as a normal reaction to pet loss.
