Westport Vets launches Westport 24 - A dedicated 24/7 emergency service in Linlithgow
Westport Vets is proud to announce the launch of their new independent out-of-hours service, Westport 24 (WP24), providing round-the-clock emergency care for pets in Linlithgow and beyond.
Westport 24 is set to launch on 28th April 2025, offering a game-changing approach to emergency veterinary care.
This move comes in response to strong client feedback, with pet owners expressing the need for a trusted, local emergency service that eliminates the stress of traveling long distances or seeing unfamiliar vets.
Westport Vets have taken on four new Veterinary Surgeons - one Emergency Critical Care Specialist - and three Registered Veterinary Nurses to facilitate the new Westport 24, 24 hour service.
Westport Veterinary Clinic Owner and Senior Veterinary Surgeon, Stuart McMorrow, says:
"We know how worrying it can be when a pet needs emergency care, especially late at night. Clients told us they wanted an out-of-hours service that kept them with a team they know and trust. Westport 24 does exactly that – high-quality, 24/7 emergency care from our expert vets at a significantly lower cost than the current alternatives. We’re making emergency care more affordable, more accessible, and more familiar for our clients and their pets."
A huge benefit is that no long-distance travel will be required out of hours for clients - emergency care being locally available. This service also being available to all clients from their South Queensferry and Edinburgh branches.
Westport 24 will offer emergency consultations at a fraction of the usual cost for out-of-hours care. To make it even more affordable, Westport Vets are introducing a brand-new membership, WP24, which provides an absolutely massive discount on emergency consultations. There will be more details on this made available on the lead up to WP24 opening.
Westport Veterinary Clinic Owner and Senior Veterinary Surgeon, Stuart McMorrow, says:
"Our goal is simple: to provide expert out-of-hours care at a much lower cost than other emergency options while maintaining the highest standards of veterinary treatment."
"To ensure a smooth transition, our new dedicated out-of-hours team will be working in our main practice during regular hours in the coming weeks. This will give them time to get settled, train, and meet our clients before WP24 officially launches."
"We’re incredibly excited about this next step and look forward to providing even better service and support to our clients and their pets."
Westport Vets will be sharing updates on their Westport 24 services throughout March and April on their social media platforms.
Westport Vets is always welcoming new clients - to all their branches, Linlithgow, South Queensferry and Edinburgh.
