Tea for Endometriosis - Endometriosis Action Month 2026

This month RVN Lauren and South Queensferry receptionist Hannah have been fundraising and raising awareness on Endometriosis.

Hannah and Lauren have been planning what they were wanting to do for Endometriosis Action Month since the beginning of the year and have been working hard to bring everything to fruition. At the start of the month the two of them spoke at The Priory Church at their Sunday service on what Endometriosis is, what they were doing to raise awareness on the condition, and the coffee morning that they were hosting to raise money.

They both networked with local businesses in South Queensferry, Linlithgow and Winchburgh (where our branches are based) to put up posters, see about any prizes that could be donated for raising money and open discussions around the condition.

The Priory Church in South Queensferry very kindly let them use their Garden Room at the side of the Church for the Coffee Morning, and it was only a matter of stocking everything for the day ahead.

All the baking that was on offer that day was very kindly made by various members of the Westport Vets team - from receptionist Kerry's Victoria Sponge cake, to vet Mair's Easter bunny cupcakes, to Practice Manager Fiona's allergy friendly fifteens cakes, everything went down an absolutely treat.

The tombolo was a massive hit, with lots of people going home with some prizes that were kindly donated by local businesses, friends, colleagues and veterinary company representatives. The Wellness Hamper that has been up at our South Queensferry branch this month was also featured at the morning and is set to be drawn later on today (31st March). It contains prizes kindly donated by Lin Gin, VetYogi, Far From The Madding Crowd, Westport Vets and other goodies.

"I am blown away with the support shown by so many of our friends, family and colleagues during our coffee morning and awareness month. We have raised a tremendous amount of money for Endometriosis UK which I know will help so many people across the country access the support and help they need."

Hannah said:
"I am so incredibly grateful to everyone that came along, supported not only us but the charity as well. The turn out was more than we could have asked for - a massive thank you to everyone that donated prizes, cakes and their time for helping set everything up."

We are all incredibly proud of the work that both Hannah and Lauren have put into the event, raising money and awareness for the condition. They have raised £1,230 this month, which is an absolutely amazing achievement.
