Soft Tissue Surgery CPD with Mair
Mair has her PgC (SAM) and a keen interest in soft tissue surgery and went to Birmingham for a 2 day course
At the end of June, vet Mair attended a 2-day course in advanced soft tissue surgery near Birmingham.
This consisted of lectures followed by practical sessions learning a range of surgical techniques including ear, salivary gland, urethral and abdominal surgeries.
The course was led by an enthusiastic and humorous Spanish vet who is a European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery so it was a great experience to learn from someone so knowledgeable and skilled.
Mair is looking forward to having opportunities to continue to work on the skills learnt on the course in helping her patients.
