Petplan 2025 Awards - Winners!

Fiona Leathers won Practice Manager of the Year.

Hannah Reid won Support Staff of the Year.

From the awards, it was said about Fiona,"If you’re looking for someone who leads with purpose, pushes for progress, and uplifts every person around her — look no further than Fiona Leathers. Fiona is not just a manager — she’s the engine behind the clinic’s growth, the steady hand through its challenges, and the relentless advocate for its people."

 

Hannah's nomination mentioned, "‘Hannah's calm, compassionate manner puts anxious clients at ease, while her sharp organisational skills and quiet diligence keep the front desk running. Incredibly efficient and naturally proactive, her energy and enthusiasm is infections. Hannah is just a genuinely good egg!’"

 

This year marks the 26th anniversary of the Petplan Veterinary Awards. They received over 41,000 nominations from clients and veterinary staff highlighting the fantastic work that goes on in practice on a daily basis to keep pets healthy and owners happy.

 

The Veterinary Awards are judged by an independent panel made up of leading people from the veterinary industry including presidents of the veterinary and nursing associations and previous winners of the awards.

 

Everyone here at Westport Vets are so incredibly proud of both Fiona and Hannah - and we're sure the celebrations will continue!
