London Vet Show with Rachel R
Rachel recently travelled down to London to attend The London Vet Show, a 2 day conference of lectures on a wide range of subjects!
It is important for vets and nurses to keep their knowledge up to date and there is a mandatory requirement to complete a certain number of hours of continued professional development (CPD) every year.
Rachel had the following to say about her trip:
"The London Vet Show is a massive event with lots of opportunity for learning as well as networking and seeing the latest innovations in technology and medicines. I attended lectures on an assortment of topics including acute and chronic pain, separation anxiety, cognitive dysfunction, dental radiography, canine ear disease and osteoarthritis. It was great to catch up with old friends from university and previous jobs and there was lots of great new information to bring back and share with the rest of the team at Westport!"
