Advancing Surgical Expertise: Stuart’s TPLO Course Experience

Recently, our veterinary surgeon, Stuart, attended the first-ever TPLO (Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy) workshop hosted by Movora in Boston. This intensive course provided an excellent opportunity to refine surgical techniques and gain hands-on experience under expert supervision.

 

 

The workshop was led by Dr. Jude Bordelon, DVM, MS, DACVS, MBA, and Dr. Ken Bruecker, DVM, MS, DACVS, DACVSMR—both highly experienced surgeons with extensive expertise in orthopedic procedures. Their direct supervision and practical guidance allowed participants, including Stuart, to refine their TPLO techniques and gain valuable hands-on experience.

 

 

A major focus of the course was hands-on experience, allowing Stuart to practice TPLO techniques in a controlled learning environment. With expert oversight, he was able to perfect his approach, refine his surgical skills, and incorporate advanced techniques that will benefit patients requiring cruciate ligament surgery.

 

 

The facilities in Boston provided the perfect setting for this advanced training. Equipped with state-of-the-art surgical tools and resources, the workshop ensured that every participant had access to the best possible learning environment.

 

 

With this additional training, Stuart is looking forward to performing more TPLO surgeries in the coming months.
