Work with us
Are you the missing piece to our growth plans? Are we the missing piece to yours?
Tamar Vets is a rapidly growing Small Animal practice based in Bude, on the beautiful North Cornwall coast. Passionately independent, we take pride in managing our practice here and not in some remote head office.
We respect, appreciate and value our team members. We believe Veterinary care is changing and that our role is to build the collaborative bond between our vets, our client’s and their pets. You can be an instrumental part in this journey.
Jon is an advanced practitioner and has a keen interest in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. He is also our VetGDP Advisor, and enjoys mentoring new graduates as they start their veterinary journey, offering the support and guidance needed to help them build their confidence. Callum joined us in August after graduating.
Richard has a cardiology certificate and takes local cardiology referrals. He particularly enjoys internal medicine and diagnostic imaging. Hannah is recognised for her tireless work on Canine Arthritis Management (CAM), an online education and support service for owners of arthritic dogs and professionals that care for them. Hannah joined Tamar to pursue her dreams of running a clinic dedicated to managing chronic pain as well as continuing her daily veterinary work. Howard, who originally started the practice, and Katie, are both part-time and complete our experienced veterinary team.
The practice is a member of the Vetsure and Vet Dynamics communities and has an emphasis on a progressive approach to veterinary medicine with a healthy work-life balance. Bude is a fantastic place to enjoy your free time with surfing, rowing, hiking and numerous music and arts festivals at our doorstep.
If you are considering your next move, we are always happy to hear from veterinary professionals, irrespective of our recruitment status. Contact us to see if we are the perfect match for you!
