Work with us
Suffolk Exotic Vets was initially set up by Dr Catherine Thomas as a peripatetic service. It became clear that the demand for exotic vets in the area far exceeded the availability and so in 2020 Suffolk Exotic Vets moved into a temporary accommodation within the building housing Wangford Vets. Since this time we have rapidly grown and now have a team of 5, including 2 vets. In January of 2024 we moved into our new premises, a beautiful building built in the 1880s in a conservation area, which has been fitted out to create purpose built facilities for our exotic patients. We are a small team and we truly care for each other, nurture each other's interests and skills and look out for each other. We all want to make sure that while providing the best care for our patients we are also able to enjoy our time at work.
We are also an associate practice with Nottingham Vet School, providing placements for their final year students on the exotics track.
