It’s all about upskilling!

This week has involved lots of learning (and teaching!) Student Vet Nurse Lucy has learnt how to crop tube birds after caring for a collapsed African Grey parrot who presented with Hypocalaemia and required intensive care. 
We've also had sick reptiles and wildlife too - practising new skills means that everyone in the team is familiar with slightly more unusual patients enabling us to give quality care no matter who happens to be in when an emergency sick patient arrives. Team knowledge is so important.
