Summer team building fun

This year we all went clay pigeon shooting, followed by a fab summer BBQ. It is lovely to be able to socialise all together again!

Every summer we like to do a team building activity together. This year the suggestion was clay pigeon shooting. Many of us had never tried this before, and a few were a bit apprehensive. Following the success of raft building in 2019 we returned to Ashcombe Adventure Centre and were not dissappointed. We split into two groups of 7, each with our own instructor, and proceeded to try our hand at various clay pigeon set ups. The elation when a team member hit a clay was fab, and everyone really got behind each other.

Unsuprisingly, given he holds a gun licence for local zoo cover, owner John scored the highest, but he was closely followed by Laurie. Jemma, Katie and Nicky had hidden talents, and also scored well.  It was a great opportunity for our newest team member, Nicky, to meet everyone.

After the activity we had a team social and BBQ, which was enjoyed by the team, their families and dogs!
