Carbon Offsetting
We continue to audit our carbon emissions annually using the Vet Sustain carbon audit.
This provides useful data about where our emissions come from (a surprising amount from anaesthetic gas use, which we have tried to tackle with low flow anaesthesia techniques), and also gives us a figure for carbon offsetting. While we know offsetting isn't a perfect solution, we feel it is better to do than not do!
This year we have donated to a conservation project in Panama and a wind power energy project in India.
