Don't take our word for it, check out what our people say about us
While we continue to actively recruit the right people to look after our growing clientelle, we thought it helpful to share with you what our team think of being part of Daventry Veterinary Clinic.
"THE most caring and generous person. Very enthusiastic and passionate about her practice. Always striving to provide the best possible care for the patients and cliets. Constantly finding new avenues to explore to improve the practice. Willing to listen to other people’s ideas." (Sue Vet)
"I have worked in lots of small general practices in my 30 years of nursing and haven’t ever worked with a team so caring and thoughtful, every effort is made within the constraints of the job to ensure the best visit for the patients and the clients. Sarah ensures the best equipment and training which help the staff achieve this.
I have had some health issues in the last 5 years, Sarah has been brilliant, caring and supportive during the worse times and flexible when needed regarding hours and ability to work with roles fitting to ability. She takes her responsibility of care very seriously. Sarah puts staff welfare as high priority, whether it’s mental, physical health or client/patient" (Kathryn RVN)
"I am the newest team member to join Daventry Veterinary clinic. I have been made to feel so welcome, everyone is so friendly and supportive. We have the most wonderful clients whom i enjoy seeing every day. Over the last 3 years that I have been here I feel a valued member of the team and my confidence has grown due to this. We provide such a high standard of patient care with up to date monitoring and diagnostic equipment. I am happy for any Vet or Nurse to treat my own pets. I am so lucky to have an employer whom genuinely cares for our well being." (Laura RVN )
"I have worked at Daventry Veterinary Clinic for almost 20 years. I returned on 2 occasions following maternity leave and was able to continue to work with only slightly reduced hours benefiting my family and the practice. I feel that every member of our team is valued, their ideas and opinions are considered and respected.
We are a small and friendly team who know each other and our clients well.
I would be happy for any of our vets or nurses to care for my pets." (Claire RVN)
"I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for 17 years . I love the way that we come together as a team to provide the very best care for our clients and their family.Their pets are a huge part of their family and we feel the same way - Family First and I believe we provide the best care and support and put our clients and their pets at the forefront in everything we do." (Mel)
"I went to Daventry Veterinary Clinic at a cross roads of my career – I was feeling disillusioned and unsure whether I wanted to stay in clinical practice. Within a very short space of time I fell in love with being a vet again, because I was working in a lovely practice, with an amazing team of people. Everyone is friendly, kind, supportive and every person is a team player and truly wants to help each other, and do their best for the patients. The clients are lovely, and very loyal to the practice, especially because it the last independent practice in the area. The caseload is varied, the kit is very good (awesome ultrasound machine, shiny new x-ray and dental x-ray) and the clinical standard is very high. Sarah is a very generous employer, and very caring. She wants the best for the practice, and the people working in it, and this comes across very strongly. As well as this she is an excellent vet with many years of experience, as are the other vets at the practice, so the support system is brilliant. I was very lucky to spend four years working in such a lovely place, with such lovely people." (Pippa Vet)
