Rachael's Review of her time at Bay Vets so far
One of our most smiley members tells us why she loves her job here
I started just as covid hit and it couldn’t have been a stranger time to start a job, but all staff whether fellow receptionist, nurse or vet were so welcoming and friendly regardless.
Our bosses care what we think and we regularly have team meetings to discuss any issues, they organise team events and last year we had a summer garden party where family members were also invited so we could get to know people better.
We also raise money for local charities and this year, we are hoping to raise money for a local Defibrillator, by walking from our Milnthorpe site to Caton - stopping off at Morecambe and Lancaster along the way! This again brings the team together by uniting us in a common goal, supporting each other along the way.
The best feeling is when a client leaves and says thank you, it can be an extremely stressful appointment they have been to, and to still say thanks means a lot.
No matter what role you have in Bay Vets, we all share the common love of animals and want to do the best we can to keep them healthy!
