Bay Vets in the Community (Part 1)

In February, Milnthorpe’s Head RVN, Vicky, headed over to Sedbergh Primary School to introduce the reception class there to the world of veterinary.

The class met Spare and Rum, Vicky’s own well-behaved dogs, who were more than happy to accept all the attention.

They discussed jobs with animals, role-played as vets and played with stethoscope, listening to their own and the dogs’ hearts.

As you can see, they received bandaging demonstrations and learnt that pets get poorly just like people.

Inspiring generations and sharing our passion for animal welfare is always a pleasure.

Community engagement is important to us at Bay Vets. We are “The Community Vets” after all!
