BVA Live

On 11th and 12th May, myself and other team members along with Owen, our founder, were delighted to represent Animal Trust at BVA Live in Birmingham. An event that gathers the veterinary profession together for two days of CPD, exhibitions and socials, it was the first show Animal Trust has attended as an exhibitor.

It was an excellent opportunity to share our new logo and branding with the profession and to spread the word about who we are and what we do. We had our very own stand, branded tote bags and our own TV, meaning we were able to play recent footage interviewing our staff members for people to watch. We had vets, nurses, practice managers and members of our non-clinical team all on the stand. It was a great chance to interact with team members from different sites, united for the event.

We were visited by lots of delegates wanting to learn more about us. It was great to see the positive reactions and interest we received from members of our profession. This also gave us the chance to dispel that common myth that we’re a charity. For those of you not exactly sure, we are a not-for-profit community interest company. We don’t have shareholders and our profits are reinvested back into the business. This allows us to focus on our main priority – the health and care of the animals that we see. We have no eligibility criteria to access our services.

For any of you who did pop by our stand, it was lovely to meet you! We hope you appreciate the message we are trying to spread about improving access to affordable veterinary care. Hopefully, we might get the chance to meet more of you at future congresses!

All the best,

Lizzie :D
