"Truly inspiring"

We were delighted this month to receive confirmation that we have passed our most recent Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) Assessment. The RCVS-run voluntary scheme gives pet owners peace of mind that any practice displaying the RCVS accreditation logo meets RCVS-approved standards of care. 

Our RCVS assessor identified many areas of best practice in her feedback report, but focused especially on our practice culture commenting that, "to see a practice so invested in their team is truly inspiring." She observed that, "staff wellbeing and happiness is at the heart of this practice and is embedded within the cuture of the team," and praised the fact that, "the whole team are invested in maximising their skills, not only for their own development, but also for the development of the business."

From our perspective, the RCVS PSS framework is a great benchmarking tool so that we know we're delivering high standards. Not only does the framework help inform clincal and pet and owner service standards, but we also love the emphasis on team development and being increasingly sustainably-minded.

There has been much change since we first became RCVS-accredited in 2009. We look forward to seeing how the PSS framework continues to adapt to ongoing veterinary industry advancement and wider-world influences.
