Great learning at BVA Live!

Six of our team attend BVA Live 2024 at the NEC in Birmingham.

Three of our vets and three of our Registered Veterinary Nurses are attending this week's BVA Live congress to expand their knowldge around best practice and the latest initiatives in the veterinary world. Team attending have a range of clinical experience and interest: a 2-year qualified vet who is a new starter at our practice and has never been to a vet congress, a vet with a passion for consulting and laporoscopy who attended BVA Live last year, a vet interested in general self-development, our Lead Nurse who is keen to swot up on anaesthesia, an RVN studying for a certificate in canine mobility and an RVN who is 2 years post qualification and loves new learning.

"Veterinary congress is a great opportunity for team to hear world class speakers in their field sharing their veterinary expertise and knowledge," notes our practice's Clinical Director Hamish Duncan. "There's such a diversity of topics that there's something for everyone, whatever your clinical interest or level of experience.

"We love supporting team to attend events like this, to inspire individuals and encourage them to bring golden nuggets of learning back into practice. Congress is also a great space to talk about the profession with other veterinary professionals, to meet veterinary suppliers and generally have a great day out!"

We look forward to finding out how our team got on when they arrive back in practice next week!
