Don't take our word for it!

Hear from one of our vets about what it's like to work at 387 Vets

Sam joined the 387 team in 2019 as a new Bristol graduate, having previously been a work experience student here and seen practice with us for his CEMS. He is a hugely valued member of the team, a great supporter of his colleagues and is highly thought of by clients - the number of online reviews and client cards in which he is personally mentioned is testament to this.

Sam's skills, knowledge and surgical portfolio have continued to grow over the past three and a half years through in-house mentoring, external CPD and vet congress attendance. In January this year, Sam and our Clinical Director Hamish received on-site laparoscopic spay training by Rob Hamilton from Mobile Surgical Mentoring, and the pair have been our keyhole spay champions since! With laparoscopy accounting for 50% of our spays, Sam will now be training other team to increase our keyhole ops capacity. Exciting times.

When asked what keeps Sam at 387 Vets and what he likes best about working here, these are the things he listed:

"Lovely team to work with, freedom to make clinical decisions and support if required, opportunities to progress skills set and a lovely/ friendly family feel to the practice."
