Learning experience we offer
We're a diverse team with a strong drive for a workplace that promotes wellbeing and great patient care. We pride ourselves of doing a great job in all areas whether that be client care, patient care or practice management.

We refer little and you ay see complex surgeries such as orthopaedic procedures, complex soft tissue surgery and a plethora of exotic animal care and surgery. Colleagues have extra qualifications in behaviour, nutrition, surgery and exotics and you can tap into all this knowledge during your time with us.

The whole team will get you involved and everyone is passionate about their role in practice so be prepared to learn from everyone as most of us love to teach! We'll provide a workplace tour, a sign off sheet and take into account your learning objectives.

You will be involved in surgeries ranging from routine neutering to wound repairs and scrubbing into ex laps. We'll chat through x rays and will ask your opinion on blood sample results, all in an open floor discussion where we'll help coach you with our clinical experience and skillset.

We provide veterinary care for two local charities, Cats Protection and the RSPCA so you will experience some shelter medicine and get involved with feral neutering schemes and practice pragmatic veterinary care too.

If there is anything specific you'd like to see then let us know and we'll do our best!
What we expect from you
We would love you to come with a clear idea of your objectives and what you would like to achieve from your placement with us. With this information we can formulate targets and focus on specific areas you would like help to develop further.

More importantly we want to see a desire to get stuck in with the rest of the team, get involved and feel part of the practice whilst you're with us. We're passionate about our jobs and would love to share this with you so an open mind and a drive to engage in new ideas is essential too.

We do our own on call and if you'd like to be notified if there is an 'exciting case' coming in we'll more than happily give you a call too.
