Throughout your time with us, you’ll be encouraged to ask questions, share your thoughts, and get involved in meaningful ways. Our experienced vets and nurses are passionate about teaching and take great pride in guiding the next generation of veterinary professionals. Whether it’s walking you through a case, demonstrating a new skill, or simply sharing the little tips and tricks that make practice smoother, you’ll find us approachable and always ready to help.

We also recognise that every student has unique goals and interests. Some may want to focus on surgery, others on medicine, exotics, or even practice management. Wherever your passion lies, we’ll do our very best to tailor your placement to ensure you get the most out of your time with us.

We’re proud to support our final-year students by offering sponsored placements to those who go on to secure new graduate roles with us. This helps ease financial pressures, allowing you to focus fully on your learning and, most importantly, on passing your exams.

During your time here, you’ll gain exposure to every aspect of small animal practice. Sean and James are always keen to involve students in the practical side of pet care, giving you the opportunity to observe a wide range of consultations, imaging, dentistry, and surgeries. For those ready to get hands-on, there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills in a supportive and safe environment.

Our dedicated nursing team are also exceptional teachers. They take the time to share their knowledge and guide you through procedures, ensuring you build both confidence and competence as you grow.
