Learning experience we offer
At Pet People Vets, we're proud to offer EMS veterinary students the opportunity to gain valuable experience and hands-on training during their placements with us. Our team of experienced veterinarians and support staff are passionate about helping the next generation of veterinary professionals develop their skills and knowledge in a real-world setting.

During their placements with us, EMS veterinary students will have the chance to work alongside our team, observing consultations, procedures, and surgeries. They will also have the opportunity to get involved in patient care, under the guidance and supervision of our veterinarians. We believe that this hands-on experience is essential to helping students build their confidence and competence as veterinary professionals.

In addition to clinical experience, we also offer EMS veterinary students the chance to learn about the day-to-day operations of a veterinary clinic, including administrative and customer service tasks. This well-rounded experience can help students gain a better understanding of the veterinary industry as a whole, and prepare them for their future careers.

At Pet People Vets, we're committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment for EMS veterinary students. We believe that by investing in the next generation of veterinary professionals, we're helping to ensure that pets in our community receive the highest quality of care.
What we expect from you
At Pet People Vets, we hold our EMS veterinary students to a high standard and expect them to be committed to their learning and professional development during their placement with us. We would like students to be punctual, professional, and to demonstrate a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Students should have a basic understanding of veterinary medicine and terminology, and be prepared to ask questions and seek clarification when needed.

While on placement with us, we would like students to actively participate in patient care under the guidance and supervision of our veterinarians. We ask students to be respectful of our patients and clients, and to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. We also encourage students to take initiative and responsibility for their own learning, seeking out opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills.
