How the role has come about
our fantastic vet Joanna joined us as a new graduate in 2019 and we are so proud of the vet she has become. We always know the day would come when her lengthy commute would become too much and sadly for us now is that time. She is moving to a practice close to her home and we know she will be an asset to them.

About us

Workplace overview
Argyll opened its doors 25 years ago and are lucky to still have one of the founding members, Anne Breckenridge as part of our amazing team. Anne established a great rapport with the local community which has continued to thrive over the years. We have tried our best to continue her legacy with a happy team and happy clients.
We're an easy going sociable bunch who are very lucky to have the beautiful north devon coastline on our doorsteps. I mean who doesn't want to finish work and head to the beach. It also means we make the most of those valuable days off.

We have lucky to have an brilliant vet team, no bias! The oldies are a fountain of knowledge whilst our young pups have new ideas and techniques to share. We love a bit of mentoring. We find it incredibly satisfying to see our colleagues thrive and knowing we have been a part of that.

Argyll are a family. We chat, we play, we laugh and we occasional bicker but we always support one another. We all find bad days are improved with chocolate, pizza, MacDonald's or a cheeky Costa.
