We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RVN to join our team in the role of practice and operations manager for our Midlands area to ensure the smooth operation of our services. This role is based full time in our Stafford office, and the successful candidate will be a registered veterinary nurse with excellent communication and organisational skills.

As our practice has grown, the demands of managing both our clinical team and the operational side of the business have increased. We recognised the need for a dedicated Practice and Operations Manager to ensure our Midlands services run smoothly and continue to deliver the highest standards of compassionate care.
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Lead and manage a dedicated team of vets, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
HR and Health & Safety: Oversee HR functions and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Operations Management: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice, including fleet management and stock control.
Procedures and Protocols: Maintain and update practice procedures and protocols, ensuring best practices are followed.
Tech and IT Support: Provide light tech and IT support as needed.
Recruitment and Interviews: Manage recruitment processes and conduct interviews.
Financial Tasks: Handle financial tasks.
Rota Management: Manage staff rotas, holidays, and absences.
Weekend Work: Work alongside our reception team on Saturdays; working a fixed rota of alternating 4 and 5- day weeks.
Part of online consulting team (full training provided)
Take part in events (full training provided)

Flexibility to work Saturdays.
